Major changes to Panama’s Permanent Resident ¨ Friendly Nations Visa ¨ Program in 2021.
Executive Decree 197 of May 7th 2021, modifies the requirements to access the permanent residence permit “Friendly Nations Visa” and extends the period in which permanent residence will be obtained to 2 years. The Decree 197 enters into force in August 2021, people who have the requirements can still benefit from the previous program.
